This entire process can be done in 10 business days or less.
WOOD - We begin with a piece of Canadian hardwood with dimensions of 1" thick x 3.5"x11.5"
LASER CUTTING - Any 2D shape can be cut into the wood blank. Below is a template to use to create your own shape and artwork. Please note that there must be a minimum 1" flat area at the bottom of your design for the ferrule to seat against.
SANDING - The soot is sanded and sharp edges taken off to make the handle comfortable.
PAINTING - The handles get a thick coat of premium white paint.
PRINTING - We print in full colour with specialized UV cured inks. We try to bleed over the edges to get a more finished look.
SIDES - They can be left white or we can hand paint them black. The other option is to wrap the edge with a very aggressive permanent vinyl on which we can print in full colour. Don't worry: we will do the measuring so your elements end up where you want them.
EMBELLISHMENTS - For an extra charge we have options to add things like toppers, plexiglass (to add dimension), synthetic chalk board and even magnet material. Please email us as these would be custom orders.
FINISHING - The last part is the inspection and assembly, including addition of the standard stainless steel ferrule.
Made from Canadian Birch with a sanded, smooth finish.
Handles are direct printed in full colour (some exceptions) with durable UV cured inks. All Prices include printing.
Include polished chrome ferrule. (3/8" thread- North American standard)
Need multiple titles? You can order as many layouts as you like as long as you are providing the artwork on our tap handle template (below) For example, if you order 50 handles and need 5 different layouts you can do that and still get the bulk discount. All you would do is put your files into a zip folder and submit that with your order. Then let us know in the Special Instructions area the quantities of each.
Can I get a chalkboard tap handle? Yes. We use a synthetic chalkboard vinyl that lasts longer and is easier to clean. If you want this, mark it on your proof as “Chalkboard area”. (extra fees)
We always send proofs before we do any printing.
