How do you make your Tap Handles to go?

We stock a variety of pre-painted designs that are manufactured in Canada and kept in stock at our facility in British Columbia. We print on pressure sensitive vinyl and cover with durable laminate to protect the ink and wrap the handles to give them their customized finish. We also laser engrave the "Easy Handles".


Are the decals removable?

Yes - but they are hardy enough to last. We designed the handles to have areas that can be changed on a regular basis so you can adjust to the market quickly. Many customers order extra decals from us when they have seasonals or want to change the brew name. No need for a whole new handle for a new brew!


Do all of my handles have to look the same?

No. If you are doing the artwork, and it's set up properly on the template, it doesn't matter what graphics you want to put on the handles. 


What are your artwork charges?

We charge $75.00 per hour for artwork and design.


What if I want a 3D custom handle that is not from this line?

Our parent company, Wylie Jack Tap Handles & Branding, takes care of all the 3D custom work. We do all of the design and prototyping in Canada. We manufacture in Asia, and we also manufacture in Canada. Minimum orders for 3D custom handles through Wylie Jack is 100 to 200, depending on the design.


How long does it take to ship my order?

We try to have your first proof back to you within 2 business days. Once approved, we go straight to printing the next business day. Your order could be mailed within 4 to 5 business days. Shipping to Western Canada is about 3 days, Ontario area 6 days, Eastern Canada 10 days. US destinations vary from 3-10 days.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure ALL shipping information (including phone number) is entered as it is required for shipping. If shipping information is incorrect or missing, it will delay shipping.

Can you expedite my order?

Yes we can ship Xpress or Priority shipping for an extra cost. Please let us know your deadline in the "special instructions" area when ordering and we will let you know what we can do.


Where do you ship from?

We ship from British Columbia, Canada. 

Who do you use to ship?
We use Canada Post. Their shipping terms and agreements are here.


 Do you guarantee color matching?

 Unfortunately we cannot guarantee color matches. The only way to achieve this would be to send physical samples to us. We do use Pantones to try to match, and we print using CMYK.


 How do I indicate a cut line in my artwork?

 We like to see a vector based line in the artwork in a lime green color. 


Can I request a change after I approve my proof?

 No. After proof approval, it is immediately sent to production.


What if my artwork is low quality?

 We will let you know if the quality is too poor to print. If it is too low, we will let you know if it is fixable. There may be a surcharge for fixing low quality.


What file formats do you accept?

We can accept any file formats, and will let you know if we can’t open it.


Are templates available?

Can you print RGB/Pantone colors?

Our printer prints using CMYK ink, therefore RGB and Pantone colours will be switched to CMYK and there may be slight colour shifts. When switching from RGB and Pantone, we will get as close as possible but cannot guarantee a complete colour match.


Do I need to outline my fonts?

Yes. Please convert them to lines.


Can you resize my artwork for me?

Yes. Vector artwork can be resized, and non-vector artwork can be resized as long as the resolution is high enough.


Is it possible to update artwork I just submitted?

Yes because we will send a proof prior to printing.  


Do you charge my credit card as soon as the order is placed?

No. We authorize the card for the amount but don't actually charge it until we are finished with the proofing process.


What currency do you use?

All prices are in Canadian dollars.


Can I get a quote?

Email us and we will get you a quote within 24 hours.


Can I see a proof before ordering?

An order must be placed and a credit card amount put on hold prior to getting your first proof. We will send up to 3 proofs per decal order at no charge.


Is it possible to pay via purchase order?

No. Head over to www.wyliejack.com and it can be done with larger orders.


Do I need to approve my proof when reordering?

Yes. It takes just a few minutes and can save a lot of confusion.


Can I modify my quantity during proofing?

Yes, anything can be changed during the proofing process.
