We have chosen to use Canadian hard wood as the main component for our products, thereby producing environmentally conscious tap handles with renewable resources. After an exhaustive search, we were able to partner with a Canadian company that has the same values as we do. They are very proud to have their Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification. We are proud to say that we produce our tap handles in Canada and use only North American products. This helps create jobs in our country and reduces our carbon footprint. An added bonus is that we have far greater control over our supply chain, therefore can make tap handles very quickly. In many cases, overnight.
Now we have taken it a step further and partnered with One Tree Planted. They are a non-profit organization that helps individuals and companies support the environment by planting trees on their behalf. We have committed to planting 1 tree for every 20 handles we produce. These trees will be planted in our home province of British Columbia.
In addition to offering environmental responsibilities, we are also responsible for the health, well-being and equality of our employees. We are proud to be a Living Wage Employer.
What responsibilities do we have as a living wage employer? We pay our employees and contract workers a living wage, and by doing so, are investing in the future of our economy and helping to end working poverty.

We are committed to changing the way the beer industry looks at tap handles. We are constantly looking for ways to make things more affordable and sustainable so we can all enjoy the rewards of the beverage industry.
